NASHVILLE PUSSY to Release Up The Dosage January 2014 on Steamhammer/SPV

European Shows Scheduled for February 2014
One of the most unusual and charismatic rock acts of our time have announced the release of their latest studio album for January 2014. More precisely: the American quartet NASHVILLE PUSSY are set to present their new studio recording Up The Dosage on January 21, 2014 in North America, in Germany on January 17, 2014 and Europe on January 20, 2014.
Up the Dosage picks up seamlessly where their 2009 release From Hell To Texas left off. And what is more: their five-year hiatus seems to have done frontman Blaine Cartwright (vocals, guitar) and Ruyter Suys (guitars) good - all 13 new songs (plus two bonus tracks) sound like they were catapulted into to the public from a fountain of youth, rocking in typical Pussy style.

Blaine Cartwright is rightly proud of and unmistakably happy about the new material: "None of the previous NASHVILLE PUSSY albums have been as diverse and at the same time consistent. Everything sounds even bigger and better, yet raw and authentic through and through.
This is our Back In Black!"

NASHVILLE PUSSY came together in 1996. Ever since, the band has been performing a strenuous annual gig marathon, touring with acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Reverend Horton Heat and ZZ Top as well as playing festivals like Wacken Open Air. Classic albums such as Let Them Eat Pussy (1998), High As Hell (2000), Say Something Nasty (2002) or From Hell To Texas (2009) have caused an international stir, and their single release: Fried Chicken And Coffee" earned the band a Grammy Nomination in the late Nineties in the category ´Best Metal Performance`.

Up The Dosage will be released in North America on January 21, 2014 Germany on January 17, 2014, and in Europe on January 20, 2014 as a limited digipak edition (incl. 2 bonus tracks + poster), double gatefold LP edition with colored vinyl, standard version and download.

GWAR Debuts Video For "Madness at the Core of Time"

Sure they may have just finished the first leg of their most brutal tour to date, but the Intergalactic Warlords are not ready for a break just yet.  People have been asking when there will be a video for a song from GWAR's latest masterpiece Battle Maximus and now they have an answer.  Today your Lords and Masters bring to you the video for "Madness at the Core of Time".  Check out the video HERE and pick up your copy of Battle Maximus.  (Seriously if you haven't gotten it yet, what the FUCK are you waiting for?  Oderus needs drug money)
Quoth Oderus:
"We made a video?  I have been so busy touring, getting loaded and mouthing off I didn't even notice.  But I am sure it's the best video ever, simply because GWAR is in it."
In other GWAR news, for the last two years animators Myke Chillian and Tommy Meehan have been working with the members of GWAR to create a "GWARtoon" that was appropriately disgusting and objectionable enough to most accurately represent the most dangerous band in rock and roll history.  After all this long and hard work, last week Funny or Die finally premiered "The Animated Tales of GWAR".  Check it out HERE.
Following a short Antarctic slumber GWAR will return to the road with three shows around the holidays (December 27th - 29th) with Battlecross and Iron Reagan providing support.  Then it's off to Antarctica again before heading "down under" for their appearance on the 2014 "Soundwave Festival".
GWAR's Battle Maximus out now on Metal Blade Records features twelve brand new tracks that not only honor their departed ally, but tells the story of GWAR's latest struggle against what may be their greatest enemy yet...the insidious "Mr. Perfect", who has travelled through time itself to steal the power of GWAR--the power of immortality, and use this power to mutate the human race into his twisted vision of what the "perfect" human should be. Once again GWAR finds themselves as the only thing standing between the human race and the latest super-powered shithead bent on the destruction of GWAR and the enslavement of their worshippers.
Battle Maximus can be ordered from Metal Blade Records HEREAmazon and iTunes
