Want to Book Turbo? Now You Can

As you know I've been helping spread the word about great rock and metal through my social networking accounts, website, and Internet radio DJ for the last three years. And now its time for the next step which I already started doing last summer.

I am now putting myself out there as a DJ and/or host for shows here in the NY/NJ area. Yes, you read right. It's time I get out into the public more and take my style of rock and metal with me.

You can now book me in as a DJ and/or host of your show. Aside from a wide choice of music (from the Beatles to the undue bands) I will also promote all shows I'm booked for on my radio show and through the Bullspike Radio social networking sites in addition to my own. Plus I don't need to be on a stage to host. Knowing not all stages are wheelchair accessible I have invested in a wireless headset microphone and can host from anywhere in the venue.

So when your putting together your shows keep me in mind as your DJ and/or host for the night.

If your interested in booking me you can contact me right at Turbo@turborules.com for further details.

Lets put the roll back into rock n roll together.

PRONG's Tommy Victor Unveils Signature Schecter Guitar Confirms NAMM Signing and Performance

Tommy Victor frontman of quintessential New York Metallers PRONG is pleased to unveil his brand new signature guitar model from Schecter Guitar Research. Tommy will be showing off his new guitar at this year's NAMM show. Tommy will be signing on Friday January 25th at 1:00 PM in room 210. PRONG will then take to the stage Saturday January 26th at The Grove in Anaheim, CA alongside Exodus, Jeff Loomis and Chris Poland.

Victor commented on his new signature model guitar:

"I am so happy to finally have my own signature model being released! And to have it done through Schecter is an honor and a highlight in my career. We put our minds together to design an intense model that we know guitar players and collectors of all sorts are going to appreciate. I'm personally impressed with the outcome. It's amazing!"

"To help celebrate Schecter's dominance in new designs and innovation and quality all around, along with the release of the Tommy Victor signature model, PRONG will be supporting Exodus at the Schecter NAMM Party Saturday Jan 26th at the Grove in Anaheim. Also performing is my old friend Chris Poland and his band Ohm, and one of the world's top shredders Jeff Loomis. The incredible Gary Holt with the rest of us will be doing a signing at the new upstairs Schecter booth at NAMM (which will have my new model on display) Friday Jan. 25 at 1pm. See you at NAMM!"

PRONG latest release Carved into Stone was released in 2012 on Long Branch Records. The album which is quintessentially PRONG, stretches into the band's earliest and dirtiest foundations on which the band was founded on to the present as a staple of today's post-metal and rock scenes.

Carved Into Stone can be ordered from Amazon HERE. Be sure to check out the deluxe iTunes edition which features an exclusive bonus track which is a cover of the Rammstein track "Feuer Frei".

PRONG's video for "Revenge...Best Served Cold" can be streamed HERE.

BoundAlive Bassist Leaves Line Up

Jorge A. Avila, bass player for New Jersey metal band BoundAlive, announced from his personal Facebook page that he is leaving the band.  Below is his statement:

For close to 7 years now I have given my body, heart, mind and soul to BoundAlive and have done so with great pleasure and desire. I have always pushed forward and always given BoundAlive 200% of myself even at times where others would’ve folded, I kept on going. My desire and drive to push BoundAlive forward and my love for the arts of performing and creating music has always been intact and never greater.
After such desire, drive and motivation got questioned again for something so little and stupid that could've been easily fixed with communication and then also being compared to someone who never displayed none of those emotions…well that’s where I drew the line. Since apparently, I no longer "want" to play, I have been forced to step away even though that was never what I wanted.
I am sad to say that I am no longer part of BoundAlive and wish BoundAlive all the success in the world. Thank you all for all the great memories I will cherish for the rest of my life.
