GWAR Debuts Video For "Madness at the Core of Time"

Sure they may have just finished the first leg of their most brutal tour to date, but the Intergalactic Warlords are not ready for a break just yet.  People have been asking when there will be a video for a song from GWAR's latest masterpiece Battle Maximus and now they have an answer.  Today your Lords and Masters bring to you the video for "Madness at the Core of Time".  Check out the video HERE and pick up your copy of Battle Maximus.  (Seriously if you haven't gotten it yet, what the FUCK are you waiting for?  Oderus needs drug money)
Quoth Oderus:
"We made a video?  I have been so busy touring, getting loaded and mouthing off I didn't even notice.  But I am sure it's the best video ever, simply because GWAR is in it."
In other GWAR news, for the last two years animators Myke Chillian and Tommy Meehan have been working with the members of GWAR to create a "GWARtoon" that was appropriately disgusting and objectionable enough to most accurately represent the most dangerous band in rock and roll history.  After all this long and hard work, last week Funny or Die finally premiered "The Animated Tales of GWAR".  Check it out HERE.
Following a short Antarctic slumber GWAR will return to the road with three shows around the holidays (December 27th - 29th) with Battlecross and Iron Reagan providing support.  Then it's off to Antarctica again before heading "down under" for their appearance on the 2014 "Soundwave Festival".
GWAR's Battle Maximus out now on Metal Blade Records features twelve brand new tracks that not only honor their departed ally, but tells the story of GWAR's latest struggle against what may be their greatest enemy yet...the insidious "Mr. Perfect", who has travelled through time itself to steal the power of GWAR--the power of immortality, and use this power to mutate the human race into his twisted vision of what the "perfect" human should be. Once again GWAR finds themselves as the only thing standing between the human race and the latest super-powered shithead bent on the destruction of GWAR and the enslavement of their worshippers.
Battle Maximus can be ordered from Metal Blade Records HEREAmazon and iTunes

NOCTUM Reveal Album Artwork and Track Listing for New Full-Length Album Final Sacrifice

Available October 29th on Metal Blade Records
Swedish rockers NOCTUM have confirmed an October 29th release date for their Metal Blade Records debut Final Sacrifice.  Today the artwork and track listing have been revealed. The cover art was painted by Timo Ketola (Sunn o))), Arktau Eos) and fits perfectly with the album's raw, natural sound.

In the town of Uppsala, Sweden in the year 2009 a band called Séance was formed.  Moving at breakneck speed the band formed in September, recorded a two-song demo after adding guitarist Per Wikström to the lineup in October, and by November had changed their name to NOCTUM. Within those three months, the band signed an LP deal with High-Roller Records, and a CD deal with Stormspell Records.

NOCTUM's debut album, The Séance, was released in September 2010 via High-Roller and in December by Stormspell. The band finally embarked on their first European tour in July of 2011, and followed that up with a new EP, The Fiddler.

By August of 2011, NOCTUM created enough buzz in the underground to gain the attention of Metal Blade Records, which led to a new worldwide record deal.

With a new record deal in place with a global label, NOCTUM spent the majority of 2012 refining their sound and writing new songs. Their search for original and interesting material led them to a heavier and darker sound. The progression came very naturally for the band and differs from the typical 70's vibe. The new material successfully evokes a heaviness and emotion one might not expect from a "retro" sounding band.

Noctum toured Europe again in 2012, and then welcomed the addition of drummer Fredrik Jansson after Gustaf's departure. Jansson, who spent time in Witchcraft, Count Raven, and Abramis Brama, was added to the lineup in time to record Final Sacrifice in April 2013.

Final Sacrifice is a fictional horror story where each song communicates a portion of the overall narrative. The "final sacrifice" is like a red thread that ties the songs together and is the concept behind the art. Final Sacrifice is an analog piece of art in both audio and visual aspects.

The track "Liberty in Death" can be previewed HERE.

Final Sacrifice Track Listing:
1. Conflagration
2. Liberty in Death
3. Resurrected in Evil
4. Deadly Connection
5. Void of Emptiness
6. The Revisit
7. A Burning Will
8. Temple of the Living Dead
9. Azoth

GWAR Confirmed to Wreak Havoc Down Under at the 2014 Soundwave Festival

Fresh off their highly successful and best GWAR-B-Q yet, your lords and masters have announced that they will be conquering yet another festival.  That's right everyone's favorite Scumdogs GWAR will be returning to the land down under to wreak havoc and make sweet Kangaroo love with the locals.  The first show is Saturday February 22nd in Brisbane, followed by shows in Syndey, Melbourne and Adelaide before wrapping up Monday March 3rd in Perth.  A complete list of dates is below.

"Considering it was twice as big as last year's 2012 GWAR-B-Q and about eight times as slaughter-ific, your Lords and Masters, the mighty GWAR, are semi-satisfied, said lead singer Oderus Urungus, who was contacted at this Antarctican fortress.  "The sheer amount of carnage influcted...I mean I saw whole families just wiped out in the savage glee of the Pit of the GWAR-B-Q, willingly screaming as their bodies were pulped by our giant meat grinder.  Every drop of GWAR Beer and GWAR B-Q Sauce was consumed, and all the bands ruled! And loyal bohab Goldmember repeated as Spew-O-Lympic champion it was far and away the greatest GWAR-B-Q yet."

"Now on to our new album Battle Maximus, the new GWAR album, featuring the debut of new Scumdog Pustulus Maximus.  A new era of GWAR has begun.  Hail FLATTUS, Hail GWAR, tell all of your friends that missed the 2013 GWAR-B-Q that they fucked up!"

On coming playing the Soundwave Festival Oderus said:

"We can't wait to come back to Australia as part of the colossal Soundwave Festival.  Now if we could only figure out how to get there, if we swim, on Gor-Gor's back we should be able to decimate Asia nicely"

GWAR recently announced the first leg of their massive "Madness at the Core of Time" world tour, in support of their new album, Battle Maximus.  The tour, which features a completely brand-new show full of slavering creatures and deserving victims, is set to kick off October 2nd in Columbus, Ohio and runs through November 17th in Washington, DC.  GWAR shall be joined by deathcore heavyweights and label-mates Whitechapel, Richmond, VA thrashers Iron Reagan (featuring Municipal Waste singer Tony Foresta) and A Band of Orcs (who are actually a band of Orcs).

GWAR has teamed up with VICE to drop the next tasty morsel from Battle Maximus on your pointy little heads.  Head HERE, to read an exclusive interview with Oderus and to hear the premiere of the song "Bloodbath".

GWAR is set to release Battle Maximus their 13th studio album, and their first since legendary Scumdog Flattus Maximus returned to the stars to fulfill his cosmic destiny. The album will be available September 17th via Metal Blade Records.  Check out the first track, "Madness at the Core of Time" and pre-order your copy of Battle Maximus HERE.

GWAR's Battle Maximus features twelve brand new tracks that not only honor their departed ally, but tells the story of GWAR's latest struggle against what may be their greatest enemy yet...the insidious "Mr. Perfect", who has travelled through time itself to steal the power of GWAR--the power of immortality, and use this power to mutate the human race into his twisted vision of what the "perfect" human should be. GWAR Gears up for the "Bloodbath" at This Weekend's GWAR-B-Q With New Song Premiere

Latest Opus Battle Maximus Available September 17th on Metal Blade Records
The biggest, sickest, most debauched party of the summer is just days away! That's right, Slave Pit Inc and your Lords and Masters GWAR are counting down the hours until the 4th Annual GWAR-B-Q.   The mighty GWAR will once again be headlining the event, and they will of course feature songs from their new album Battle Maximus.  The event will be held Sat., Aug. 17th at Hadad's Water Park in Richmond, VA. The event will be held RAIN OR SHINE. Nothing short of nuclear holocaust can stop GWAR, and even that is highly debatable...the GWAR B-Q is on, NO MATTER WHAT!!!

As a special treat for the human scum, Oderus Urungus has decided to give the bohabs another taste of what they can expect from Battle Maximus.  GWAR has teamed up with VICE to drop the next tasty morsel from Battle Maximus on your pointy little heads.  Head HERE, to read an exclusive interview with Oderus and to hear the premiere of the song "Bloodbath".  Then get ready to be a part of the carnage this Saturday at the GWAR-B-Q.

Although he is deep in preparations trying to find enough "crackahol" (Oderus' new favorite drug, a mixture of booze and crack) to get through the weekend, Oderus would never pass up a chance to rant about a new song and the GWAR-B-Q:

"Bloodbath is a catchy little ditty straight from Scumdog City, with a sound reminiscent of past GWAR thrash-ter-pieces like Jack the World or Happy Death Day, yet completely different. It also features a ripping lead from new Scumdog Pustulus Maximus that is sure to melt your eardrums...lyrically it is a rumination on the inevitability of death for you mortals, and how you should not fear this...for death at the hands of GWAR is the most liberating experience you can ever have, especially in our Meat Grinder!"

And for those of you that don't read press releases or pay attention, do it NOW.  All details that you need about tickets for the event can be found below.

As far as tickets are concerned please pay close attention-- everybody who bought an e-ticket online must have a hard copy of EACH TICKET for entry--that means following all the links provided in the email that was sent to you and printing a hardcopy of every ticket. That means if you bought more than one ticket, you must have copies for every individual ticket purchased, so be sure to follow every link and print everything you can. YOU MUST HAVE HARD COPIES OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL TICKET IN ORDER TO GAIN ADMITTANCE. Klar? Klar! That's "clear" for us Americans.

Deluxe ticket sales have ended, but official GWAR-B-Q 2013 t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event. There will also be raffle tickets available at the merch booth with your chance to win any number of a host of valuable prizes. (See Below) There will be no weapons, pets, video cameras or glass allowed anywhere within Hadads, and backpacks and coolers will be checked by Hadad's security at the gate. Remember GWAR fans, we are guests at Hadads, and if we want to continue this fine tradition we must respects the perfectly reasonable requests of our host...plus GWAR commands it!

No effort has been spared to make this the most spectacular GWAR B-Q yet, and this year that includes providing the faithful GWAR fans with a skate park truly worthy of a GWAR B-Q. A legion of slaves has been laboring ceaselessly to create it, and their efforts are a complete GO, featuring a half-pipe, ¼ pipes, a fun box (whatever the hell that is), grind rails, and finally a bike launch ramp, supplied by FBM Bike Co. These are all open to the public so bring your skate, bike, or rocket-sled.

Of course the memory of GWAR's departed Scumdog brother, Flattus Maximus, will always be with us, and many flagons of GWAR BEER (brewed especially for the GWAR B-Q by Tampa's Cigar City Brewery) will be hoisted to honor his legend. There will be a special "Flattus Shrine" booth set up full of Smoot shirts and music, and all proceeds garnered here will go straight to the Smoot Family Fund.

Bus shuttles will be available for FREE from 2BNB, for pickup locations and schedules check out all the details HERE.  Finally car-pooling is highly encouraged as there is very limited parking at the venue.  This does not mean for you to drive your car into the pool, it means you can get a free ride if you are too wasted. The safety of our fans and other humans is of the highest priority for the Slave-Pit, so your soul can be saved for GWAR to do with as they please.

Rain or shine, its all systems GO for this years most debauched gathering of the summer and the greatest GWAR-B-Q in history. See all of you faithful bohabs there at Hadad's, Aug. 17th, 2013! HAIL FLATTUS, HAIL THE BOHABS...AND HAIL GWAR!!!
